Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has been the subject of pregnancy rumours recently, having stayed under the radar since the X Factor series ended in December. But the star made a dazzling return to the spotlight on Thursday. All eyes were on the pop princess as she graced the front row of Ralph & Russo at Paris Couture Week, accompanied by her husband Jean-Bernard.

Cheryl wore a monochrome tuxedo ensemble. Her white jacket featured a peplum waist detailing, keeping fans guessing as to whether the star is expecting or not, and she accessorised with a long black neck scarf and pointed court shoes. Joining Cheryl on the front row was burlesque performer Dita von Teese, who was a scarlet siren in an all-red ensemble. Cheryl and Dita cast a discerning eye over the British haute couture house's stunning new floral-themed confections in pale pastels that captured the essence of summer.

Speaking to HELLO! Fashion before the show, founder Tamara Ralph, whose business partner is Michael Russo, said: "I am really happy with the collection; it's beautiful, very pure and fresh with a light feel to it. "It is an incredible honour to be invited to show here and we enjoy it so much." Referring to their army of models, Tamara joked: "They are my damsels in distress, lost in the forest. They have a purity and innocence." Cheryl poked fun at the pregnancy rumours on last week, announcing that she is "delivering" her first centre under her new charity Cheryl's Trust.

The singer made the announcement to her fans on Instagram. "I'm happy to announce my exciting news," she wrote. "I will be delivering my first... centre in Newcastle for #CherylsTrust." Cheryl's post continued her return to Instagram following a three-week hiatus from the photo sharing site. The 31-year-old, who was notably absent from the National Television Awards earlier this month, made her return on Thursday by posting a photo to congratulate her fellow X Factor judges on the talent show's win. "Congratulations to #Xf for winning the NTA last night!!!" she captioned a celebratory photo of herself with Mel Band Louis Walsh taken during filming for the X Factor's most recent series. "Woohoo #xf2014." The Newcastle-born star's absence at the NTAs prompted some media criticism as well as rumours suggesting her absence could be because she is pregnant or had left the show. In response, Cheryl took to Twitter to say that people shouldn't be so quick to judge her actions. "People should never jump to conclusions about others..." she wrote in what was her first tweet since 1 January. "You never know what they may be dealing with #thatsall."
