The spitting image of her famous mother, Kaia’s modelling career started in 2012 when, at the age of 10, she landed a high-profile gig with Donatella Versace as the face of the brand’s spring/summer Young Versace campaign. She’s also posed for Teen Vogue and popped up on several red carpets recently with her mother - not to mention her role as a frequent star of mum Cindy’s Instagram account.

The teenager has clearly inherited her mum's good genes

Last year, Kaia shared snaps of her sporting several of Cindy’s old clothes, including a particularly striking floral Roberto Cavalli dress.

In a photo shared on Kaia and brother Presley's joint Instagram account, the 13-year-old was pictured in several of Cindy's old clothes, including a particularly striking floral Roberto Cavalli dress.

The evening dress was first worn by Cindy at the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards in New York City back in 2003, however for the gown's latest outing, Kaia has opted for a paved driveway with a stunning sunset backdrop.

It comes as no surprise that the laidback shots were posted on Instagram. Cindy recently revealed that she felt social media had become a powerful tool for models trying to make it in the industry. "Because of social media, so many of the girls today, like Coco Rocha, Lily Aldridge, Georgia May Jagger and Cara Delevingne, are brand-building," she explained. "When I started modelling there was no language for that. "I think that things have changed certainly because of America's Next Top Modeland Instagrams and selfies," she added.

The pictures could have easily been mistaken for throwbacks to Cindy's teenage years, as she shot to international fame when she began modelling at 17 years old.
