Laura Bailey worked one of this season’s major fashion trends on Wednesday evening, clashing prints to create a beautifully on-trend ensemble. The 44-year-old model sat front row at the Chanel Cruise 2018 show in Paris, dressed in an oversized black wool cardigan adorned with an all-over red, pink, blue, white and green print. The statement piece was worn with a crisp white shirt with a peter pan collar, and teamed with wide leg cropped trousers with a slightly different pattern. A pair of black heeled ankle boots finished off the look.

In terms of make-up, Laura’s model features were enhanced with a glowy base and peach blush, while her large blue eyes were outlined with black eyeliner and layers of mascara. She wore a matte pink hue on her lips and her long blonde hair was scraped back into a mid-height ponytail and accessorised with a large bow. Laura joined some of fashion’s biggest names at the Grand Palais, including actress Keira Knightley and Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

The stunning venue was transformed for the evening, seeing columns and ruins decorating the large hall to resemble ancient Greece. Opening up about her preferred evening look to W magazine, Laura revealed that the Parisian fashion house is her go-to designer: “some kind of vintage-denim-Chanel combination—like a plain midi-skirt with a vintage Nike tee and a sharp heel, or my favorite boyish Isabel Marant dark navy pant with a print blouse, or a sweatshirt and brogues. It depends on my mood and the night. If I'm dressing up, Chanel and Valentino are favorite designers.”

And it seems that patterns are popular with Laura this season. Last week, the model wore a pretty long sleeve floral dress with ruffled sleeves as she enjoyed a night out with her friends, including fellow model Poppy Delevingne at Soho House in London.
