Gigi Hadid proved her professionalism once again when she lost a shoe during Anna Sui's runway show. The supermodel has been strutting her stuff as part of New York Fashion Week, walking for the likes of Prabal Gurung, Jeremy Scott, and Tom Ford.

But it was as she took to the catwalk for American fashion house Anna Sui on Monday that Gigi had to think on her feet - quite literally, when she lost her right high heel.

Dressed in a sparkling midi dress with a feather trimmed shrug draped over the top, the 22-year-old blonde still stunned and she walked with confidence in only one heel.

Members of the audience who took in the New York show were quick to praise Gigi on social media. "Gigi Hadid lost a shoe and I barely noticed #Professional @annasui," one Twitter user posted. "Gigi Hadid Loses Shoe on Anna Sui NYFW Catwalk - and Doesn't Miss a Step!" another wrote.

Gigi's younger sister, Bella Hadid, was also part of the presentation. The pair even hugged as they walked down the runway together at the end of the show, with Gigi still wearing just one shoe.

And 20-year-old Bella isn't immune from her own wardrobe malfunctions; at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, the brunette beauty gave reporters a little more than they bargained for when her satin pink Alexandre Vauthier dress shifted position when she went to greet Susan Sarandon, exposing her underwear underneath. The gaffe happened again further down the red carpet, when she made moves to show photographers the back of her dress.
