Say ‘I do’ on a budget…

High street wedding-wear has been sweeping across the UK recently – with affordable bridal styles from none other than Dune, ASOS, Sainsbury's and Whistles launching onto the market in the last year. But while those ranges do offer a huge saving on traditional wedding retailers, true bargain hunters will be thrilled to learn that Primark have finally joined the bridal bandwagon – offering jaw-droppingly low prices starting at under £1! Being a bride on a budget has never been so exciting…

The range, though not including actual wedding dresses as yet, features an array of accessories for the home, the hen dos and the day itself. The ticket 90 pence item (yes, 90 pence!) are a pair of adorable pastel pink flip flops – presumably for bachelorette parties in the sun – while other bargain items include beautiful lace lingerie starting at £4 and a cute ‘Bride To Be’ pyjama set for just £4.50.

We love this pretty ‘Happily Ever After’ clutch, which is reminiscent of the popular-but-pricey Olympia Le Tan book bags, which also resemble romantic novels. Every bride needs somewhere to keep her lipstick, and this would be the ideal accessory for locking away any essentials on the big day.

This Heart Hanging Frame, £7, which can be used as a different alternative to a guest book, is a great budget alternative to some of the more expensive versions available online – simply ask your guests to sign one of the wooden hearts and you’ll have a memento to hang in your home and see everyday.

Bridesmaid beachwear is all the rage this year – what hen do holiday would be complete without these fun swimsuits? The bold red Baywatch shade is universally flattering, and makes for the best beach selfie – you could even team the look with Primark’s ‘Bride Squad’ necklace to show you really mean business. The range is sure to sell out, so head to your nearest store to stock up!
