Lorraine Kelly wowed viewers on Monday when she appeared on her show wearing a bold patterned dress from high street favourite Marks & Spencer. The eye-catching frock features an abstract floral pattern in khaki, pink, lime green and white and is cut in a flattering wrap style with a chunky shirt collar and tie belt. It is currently on sale for £59. The TV star teamed it with simple nude court shoes from Office and a dark manicure. She kept her bobbed hair loose and sleekly blowdried and her makeup fresh and natural.

The bold look divided Lorraine's fans

The 58-year-old posted a picture of the look to her Instagram under the caption "Lorraine's Monday #ootd [outfit of the day]" and fans were keen to share their opinions on her style. One commented: "Didn't think the show would be on May holiday. Just saw your frock so now programme on!" Others weren't so keen on Lorraine's look, with one user declaring the dress "too busy, terrible bustline...making you look very matronly".

Lorraine has been developing a reputation for not being afraid to experiment with bold new looks and has been working a number of daring looks recently. Earlier last week she stunned her viewers by wearing a white jumpsuit – arguably one of the hardest trends to wear. The bright design was made in a stark white shade and had pretty printed florals in pink, blue and orange emblazoned over it. The lightweight fabric was slinky yet tailored and also featured a hot summer micro-trend – the cold shoulder – which gave viewers a glimpse of her toned arms. The Krissie printed jumpsuit is from luxury high street store Coast and retails at £129.

Also last week, she channelled her inner sailor in an eye-catching white and black knitted sweater by Zara, which she teamed with a white pencil skirt, which boasted a high waist cut, statement buttons and a front split, by Marks & Spencer. She accessorised with bright red high heel shoes by Aldo.
