This is perfect for summer evenings!

Michelle Keegan is one seriously busy woman – not only has she been jetting around the world to film scenes for acclaimed military drama Our Girl in Nepal, Malaysia and South Africa, but she’s also found time to put together her latest collection with online retailer Very. The brunette beauty stepped out in a canary yellow dress – THE hottest colour of the season – from her collection while appearing on This Morning on Tuesday. The floral midi dress features chunky ruffles and sits just below the knee, and Michelle styled it with a smart black jacket and crossover body bag, and added nude strappy sandals.

Michelle looked summer-ready in this gorge frock

On Monday night Michelle revealed the designs she’s been working on at a launch event in Shoreditch on Monday night, and couldn’t resist donning another piece from the collection – a fitted strappy denim dress with chunky front button detail that looks just perfect for casual summer nights.

The fitted dress showed off Michelle's petite frame

The 31-year-old wore her chestnut hair in perfect waves, and showed off her pretty features with defined eye makeup, winged eyeliner and a nude lip. She was also sporting a golden brown tan – perhaps from filming in all those exotic locations. To finish the look off she accessorised with a pair of strappy nude sandals and a selection of delicate chain necklaces.

Michelle recently stuck up for herself after receiving criticism for wearing makeup during the TV show's gritty scenes. "A lot of the makeup is down to a minimum. And I have met girls who work in the army and who are medics and they say well, that's normal. You're not doing anything wrong there, you're still representing the country," she said during an interview on the BBC's Andrew Marr Show.

Last week, Michelle also told Metro that she'd received complaints about the look of her eyebrows on the show. "I remember when the building collapsed and I got a lot of grief because my eyebrows were still intact. Yeah, they are! Because they are tattooed! I can't dust them off," she said. "Everyone was saying, 'Oh she's wearing makeup and she's in the Army.' You can wear makeup in the Army. And again, it's such a sexist thing to point out."
