Lorraine Kelly brightens the nation's mood with colourful dress by Topshop

The TV star decided to ease our World Cup pain with a sunny outfit

You can always rely on Lorraine Kelly to cheer you up and that's exactly what the TV star did on Thursday morning following England's sad exit from the World Cup. Not one to sit and mope, Lorraine put on her brightest outfit for her early morning show and we have to say, her vibrant floral dress has definitely lifted our spirits. The star wore a pretty yellow calf-length dress by high street favourite Topshop and teamed it with some equally sunny yellow heels by LK Bennett. The show posted on its Instagram page: "@lorrainekellysmith delivering a splash of colour to brighten up our morning." Three cheers for Lorraine for keeping things positive.

We love the presenter's floral dress, which features a combination of orange, green and white. The cut of the outfit is stunning too, with elegant mid-length sleeves, triangular piping under the bust line and a sassy split in the centre of the skirt. The dress is called the Embellished Sunshine Floral Dress and is reduced to £20 from £59 on the Topshop website, however it has unfortunately sold out. Let's hope they restock soon!

Beauty-wise, the TV host stuck to her signature look, with her brunette hair framing her face and her makeup accentuating her eyes. Lorraine went for a warm peach lip colour to match her dress. The star kept her jewellery simple, wearing a delicate gold bracelet and necklace.

Two days earlier, Lorraine channelled the Duchess of Sussex in a gorgeous olive green dress by Ralph Lauren – the same label as Meghan wore at London's Royal Chapel at St James' Palace. We're loving your style Lorraine!
