Is there a bag more iconic than the Dior Saddle bag? Absolutely not. The bag was enormously popular the early noughties and was loved by everyone from Paris Hilton to Beyoncé who were frequently papped carrying the instantly recognisable arm candy. Heck – even Carrie Bradshaw gave it a magic sprinkle of style kudos when she wore it in Sex and the City during her first encounter with Aiden. Designed by John Galliano, but it quietly disappeared, only resurfacing years later on eBay. However, it's back with a bang and we just can't get enough of it – particularly after its brand new makeover courtesy of Dior's Maria Grazia Chiuri. Talking about the revamp, she said: "I wanted it larger and more robust, but also very colourful, embroidered or beaded with a fringe because, like a chameleon, it adapts to all situations."
Almost overnight, the bag has become a bit of a modern sensation, with some of our favourite influencers rocking the new addition.
Chiara Ferragni gave the bag retro vibes with her polka-dot playsuit
Victoria Magrath of hugely popular platform Inthefrow shared a gorgeous tan edition on her Instagram feed. Styling it with red trousers from Revolve and a crop top, she wrote: "Saying goodbye to beautiful Bermuda and hello to the cutest new @Dior saddle bag. I made so many unforgettable memories so far this summer #diorsaddle."
Victoria from In the Frow prefered pink calfskin
Blogging royalty Chiara Ferragni got in on the action, amping up her navy blue polka dot playsuit with the classic black version of the bag, which had her initials embossed on the front flap. The gold hardware looked stunning paired with her mass of Cartier bangles.
