While senior members of the royal family gathered at Buckingham Palace for Trooping the Colour on Saturday, Princess Beatrice resurfaced in Austria with her sister Princess Eugenie for a glamorous occasion.

The York sisters travelled to Vienna for the wedding of the Schwarzenberg family – and Princess Eugenie's glittering bronze gown was a sight to behold. The royal, 37, stunned outside St. Charles Church in an elegant $3,215 (approximately £2,407) floor-length dress by luxury British fashion label, The Vampire’s Wife, as identified by Royal Fashion Police on Instagram.

‘The American’ Bow-Detailed Wool Blend Lame Gown' by the designer featured puff sleeves and bow accents with a high, rounded neckline. Made from wool-blend lamé, the shimmering gown was the perfect party dress that commanded attention.

Beatrice teamed her statement look with minimal dainty gold jewellery and a bold black clutch. She let her hair down for the day, styling her brunette tresses in subtle curls that cascaded past her shoulders.

Eugenie's wedding attire

Beatrice's sister Eugenie, who is pregnant with her third child, opted for a more muted look for the overseas wedding. Eugenie looked lovely in a dark navy midi dress from Uruguayan fashion designer Gabriela Hearst.

The £1,300 ribbed dress, identified by Royal Fashion Police as the 'Amor’ Knit Midi Dress in Dark Navy Cashmere Silk', hugged the royal's figure and featured a collared neckline with short sleeves as an ideal style for the warm summer weather.

Eugenie paired her wedding guest attire with statement black hoop earrings and a dark lip colour. She wore her hair up in a bun for the occasion.

The York sisters both returned to the royal spotlight on 6 June for their eldest cousin Peter Phillips' wedding to Harriet Sperling. Eugenie and Beatrice were accompanied by their respective husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, for the Cotswolds ceremony.

Eugenie once again opted for a navy midi dress while her sister Beatrice stunned in green florals. The sisters have been keeping a low profile amid the controversy surrounding their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, who were not present for the wedding.

Royals missing from Trooping the Colour

The Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children – Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight – joined the King and Queen, Princess Anne and her husband Sir Timothy Laurence, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh on the Buckingham Palace balcony on Saturday afternoon.

Alongside the York Sisters, Princess Anne's daughter Zara Tindall and her recently-married son Peter Phillips were both missing from the gathering this year. Other absentees included the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh's two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Earl of Wessex, and disgraced royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who hasn't been seen for Trooping the Colour since stopping being a working royal.
