Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice made a return to the royal spotlight on Saturday, stepping out to celebrate the wedding of their eldest cousin, Peter Phillips, and his bride, Harriet Sperling. The royal sisters, who have maintained a notably low profile in recent months, looked radiant as they arrived at All Saints Church in the Cotswolds.

They were accompanied by their respective husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, presenting a united and joyful front for the intimate nuptials.

A show of solidarity

The York sisters' attendance marks a highly anticipated public appearance for the duo. Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 36, have largely stepped back from the public eye recently to focus on their growing families and to navigate the ongoing media scrutiny surrounding their parents.

HELLO! previously confirmed that their parents, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah, Duchess of York, were not included on the intimate guest list to ensure the day remained distraction-free for the bride and groom.

Despite the complex family dynamics, Beatrice and Eugenie's presence proves the close bond shared by the late Queen Elizabeth II's grandchildren.

Beautifully dressed

All eyes were naturally on Princess Eugenie, who is currently expecting her third child. Having announced her pregnancy in early May with a sweet photo of her sons, August and Ernest, holding a baby scan, the Princess used the family wedding to showcase her formal maternity style.

The glowing mum-to-be opted for a stylish, bump-skimming ensemble, wearing a navy dress. She accessorised with an overcoat, walking arm-in-arm with a beaming Jack. Meanwhile, her sister Beatrice - who is known for her consistently impeccable wardrobe - looked effortlessly chic in Emilia Wickstead, perfectly complemented by Edoardo's sharp tailoring.

Family reunion

The wedding marks the first time both Beatrice and Eugenie have been seen with other members of the royal family in months, since the Christmas Day service at Sandringham, having missed the Easter celebrations and events to celebrate the late Queen Elizabeth's centenary.

Last month, HELLO! revealed exclusively that Andrew, Sarah, and Prince Harry have not been invited. A friend of the couple told us: "Peter and Harriet's wedding is an intimate occasion with their close friends and immediate family around them in the Cotswolds.

It's an area where they grew up and is very special to them both. "When and whether Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson had been invited, it was probably not deemed appropriate to invite them. It's Peter and Harriet's special day, and clearly their attendance would cause a distraction to the whole day."
