Princess Elisabeth, 24, is quietly emerging as one of the biggest It-girls among European royal ladies, thanks to her wardrobe of statement dresses.
Her appearance at Isabel von Habsburg-Lothringen, Archduchess of Austria's wedding reception with Carlos María de Palacio y Gaytán de Ayala in Vienna was no exception.
After changing out of her emerald-green pleated Maje dress, Elisabeth was pictured in a striking off-the-shoulder wedding guest dress that Royal Fashion Police identified as Safiyaa's 'Ryan' gown.
Featuring the brand's iconic body-skimming column silhouette, teamed with a bold crimson colour and ruffled off-the-shoulder neckline, it could be considered a dramatic dress for a wedding. Traditionally, the colour red tends to be avoided by guests as it signalled a past romantic relationship with the groom, while royals tend to avoid showing their shoulders.
Harvard graduate Elisabeth completed her look with red strappy heels and her long blonde hair in a flowing, bouncy blow-dry.

Safiyaa is a brand loved by many royal ladies, including the Duchess of Sussex. She has stepped out in several block-coloured floor-length gowns by the designer in the past, but one of her most iconic looks was at the Mountbatten Festival of Music in March 2020.
Meghan looked glamorous in the sultry red dress with a caped neckline, which she teamed with a red satin clutch by Manolo Blahnik, and fiery red pointed-toe suede heels by Aquazzura.

Elisabeth had previously worn a very similar pink caped midi version as she joined her parents, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, at National Day in 2024. Meanwhile, the royal opted for a flowing chiffon dress from Safiyaa with a floor-length cape in the same Barbie pink for Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan's wedding with Princess Rajwa in 2023.

The bride looked striking in a lace wedding dress by Phillipa Lepley and the Bourbon-Two Sicilies Diamond Button Tiara, which she borrowed from her uncle, the Duke of Calabria.
Alongside Elisabeth, other guests who witnessed the nuptials included King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein and Princess Margaretha of Luxembourg.
