Queen Máxima of the Netherlands brought a touch of glamour to Noordeinde Palace as she stepped out in a stunning one-shoulder gown for a formal dinner on Tuesday evening.
The Dutch royal, 55, was joined by her husband, King Willem-Alexander, and their eldest daughter, Princess Catharina-Amalia, for the special occasion in The Hague.
The royal trio hosted members of the Council of State (Raad van State), with Máxima stealing the spotlight in her elegant evening ensemble.
The gathering brought together members of the Dutch royal family and senior figures from the advisory body, which plays an important role in the country's constitutional system.
The Dutch queen wowed in a rich magenta floor-length gown with a sculptural one-shoulder silhouette. The number was styled further with a statement diamond floral brooch, sparkling diamond drop earrings and a delicate tennis bracelet.
Maxima kept the focus on her gown and jewellery, allowing the vibrant colour and sparkling accessories to take centre stage.
The Princess of Orange also looked suitably glamorous as she joined her parents for the engagement, making it a stylish family affair.
The 22-year-old complemented her mother's colourful look with an equally eye-catching ensemble, opting for a contrasting shade of green.
Princess Amalia turned heads in a floor-length evening gown in a vibrant shade of lime green. The design combined a high, round-neck sheer chiffon capelet overlay with fluttery draped sleeves that fell over a satin bias-cut column skirt.
She teamed the look with a chic black crocodile-embossed structured evening clutch with gold-tone hardware and shoulder-grazing black drop-down earrings and gold bangles.
The mother and daughter made a particularly stylish pairing, with their contrasting jewel-bright outfits standing out during the evening's formal proceedings.
They were seen happily mingling with guests as King Willem-Alexander, who wore a classic black dinner suit featuring a double-breasted tuxedo jacket with broad satin peak lapels, gave a rousing speech.
