It was during a chat between Sofia and Abraham that viewers became confused, as Abraham suddenly said he wasn't looking for a relationship. Taking to social media, many questioned his remarks, with one person asking: "Has someone told this bloke he's on a dating show??"

A second viewer tweeted: "Abraham's on the wrong show, he's confused," while a third agreed, writing: "What can I say about Abraham. I was rooting for him until he forgot he was on a dating show... #TheCabins." A fourth echoed this, tweeting: "Lol Abraham doesn't know he's on a dating show? Or what's this nonsense he's talking about."

Elsewhere in the episode, Sofia and Abraham were seen having a few conversations about their connection, with Sofia feeling frustrated by his "mixed signals" and his desire to bolster his career.

Are you enjoying the new reality show?

She said during Tuesday's instalment of the reality show: "If you were brutally honest and said this would help me get out there, that is fine but sometimes you have to think about the other person's feelings. Have they genuinely actually come in here to find someone or have they done it as a career move?"

Since the couple didn't manage to get a proper connection, viewers then saw the couple back their bags and go their separate ways.

The dating programme has proved popular with viewers overall, but there was one aspect of the reality show that seems to irritate fans. As audiences watched the first set of couples get to know each other, they were put off by the constant use of phones to contact friends and family outside the cabin.

"Why can they contact the outside world with their phones?!?" one Twitter user questioned, while another argued that the use of phones "kind of spoils the atmosphere".

The Cabin continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
