Live with Kelly and Ryan has wrapped its last show with Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa at the helm.

The pair - who hosted for six years together - have been vocal about their friendship on-screen and off, but on Friday, the mom-of-three revealed how she really feels about him

During a speech in the middle of the emotional episode, Kelly admitted that their relationship was "complicated," and the reason made Ryan, 48, laugh.

Kelly, 52, said through tears: "Although we have been friends for decades and decades, I feel I have gained a younger brother, slash older son."

The audience and Ryan giggled. "It's very complicated," she then confessed. "I'm so grateful that our success together on this show has led to us developing an even closer but co-dependent relationship."
