The hot take we didn't know we needed, but really needed! During her Thursday appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kelly Ripa weighed in on the biggest daytime TV scandal in years — GMA3 hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes' affair.
Reading aloud an emailed question from a WWHL viewer, Kelly's good friend Andy Cohen asked, "as someone who's about to have your husband join you as co-host, what was your reaction to Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes' relationship on GMA3?" (Kelly's husband, Mark Consuelos, begins his reign as Kelly's cohost on Live!, another ABC show just like GMA3, later this month.) While Kelly conceded to Andy that the couple made for "compelling" TV, she said that Amy, 50, and T.J., 45, serve as a cautionary tale. Watch her hilarious take below.
"Mark and I have taken a vow of chastity while we'll be working together," Kelly, 52, said. "I know ABC does not like that TV partners bangin' on the side."

As the world now knows, Amy and T.J.'s romance was of the extramarital variety, and it led to the end of both of their marriages (hers to actor Andrew Shue, his to lawyer Marilee Fiebig) as well as their jobs on GMA3.

But don't count them out just yet. Various outlets, including Us Weekly and Page Six, report that the talked-about couple have been shopping around possible TV projects to do together as a duo: a talk show, reality series, or docuseries.
Back in February, they were photographed together on a sexy vacation in Mexico, and have subsequently been seen kissing in their native NYC. Amy finalized her divorce from husband of 12 years Andrew last month, while T.J.'s split from Marilee is ongoing.
