Unless you have been living under a rock, you will be aware of the cultural impact Off Campus has had since it landed on Prime Video just over two weeks ago.

For the uninitiated, the show, based on the bestselling book series by Elle Kennedy, follows quiet music major Hannah Wells and star hockey player Garrett Graham, who attend fictional college, Briar University, and whose fake-dating deal turns into real love.

Since it landed on Amazon's streaming platform, the show has gone nothing short of viral for its stellar cast, thoughtful and authentic portrayal of women's needs and expectations in intimacy, and last but certainly not least, a killer roster of impressive biceps from the likes of Belmont Cameli, Stephen Kaylin, Josh Heuston, Antonio Cipriano and Jalen Thomas who play the hunky Briar Hawks hockey team.

If you inhaled the first series of the show and are in need to fill the Briar boys-shaped hole in your heart, here are eight shows that might give you your heartthrob fix while we eagerly await season two.

The Baird boys could give the Briar boys a run for their money!

Tell Me Lies

Off Campus was described by one social media user as "Tell Me Lies without the trauma", so if you're still in the mood for a college-centric series, this may be a good go-to.

The Hulu show is based on the book by Carola Lovering and adapted for TV by Meaghan Oppenheimer, and is the definition of the word toxic. While, like our latest obsession, it includes a killer soundtrack and cultural references, just when things look like they are about to get better, they get worse.

This is all thanks to the master manipulator, college junior Stephen DeMarco, whose eight-year relationship with freshman Lucy Albright is the central storyline.

Plus, if you love an on-screen cast with real-life chemistry, then this is the one for you, as its stars, Grace Van Patten, who plays Lucy and Jackson White, who plays Stephen, are dating in real life and have been since 2022, after first meeting in the audition room.

There are plenty of steamy scenes in the show's three series, with Jackson and his on-screen best friends, Spencer House and Brandon Cook, certainly giving the Briar boys a run for their money in the hunk department!

For your next 'hot boy aquarium' fix Heated Rivalry is the only right answer

Heated Rivalry

Another recent cultural explosion with a couple of heartthrobs at its core that will no doubt soothe the sting of a Briar-boys' free existence is Heated Rivalry.

Starring breakout stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storie - who were both working as waiters before shooting to fame in the HBO Max series - Heated Rivalry is adapted from a novel by Canadian author Rachel Reid, who writes "sexually explicit queer romance novels about hockey players".

The programme, which documents the forbidden love affair between two rival ice hockey players, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, will certainly give you both your 'hot-boy aquarium' and a generous helping of some seriously toned torsos.

Jacob Elordi plays Nate Jacobs in the HBO Max show

Euphoria

The final season of possibly one of the most scandalous shows on and off-screen to grace our generation has landed on HBO Max, and while the cast and creatives may be plagued by rift speculation, that doesn't mean we can't reap the benefits of Euphoria.

Starring Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, and Hunter Schafer, the third series of the show is currently being released weekly, and while the time-jump storyline has been met with a mixed reception from fans, one thing that hasn't is the Frankenstein star's handsome portrayal of everyone's favourite toxic boyfriend, Nate Jacobs, yes, there's a vest.

Jonathan Bailey and his fellow Bridgerton stars are the ultimate heartthrobs

Bridgerton

Being fully aware that there is no new series of Bridgerton to indulge in, if Off Campus has left you craving even more, then it might be time for a re-watch.

From Johnathan Bailey, Luke Thompson and Rege Jean Paul to Luke Newton, the programme certainly isn't shy of handsome heartthrobs, and these are all impeccably dressed and equally as dashing.

Despite the creative decision to rein in the explicit moments seen in the first season's romance between Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset, portrayed by the captivating Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page, the following four seasons are not short of a steamy love scene, all centred around women-focused pleasure.

Set against the picture-perfect backdrop of yesteryear Mayfair and to the soundtrack of the biggest, most recent hits standouts, including instrumental covers of Thank U Next, by Ariana Grande, Give Me Everything by Pitbull and 360 by Charli XCX - a truly winning combination.

Not to mention, Jonathan Bailey was voted Sexiest Man Alive by People last year.

Vampire Diaries should be on your radar if you need a hunky fix

Vampire diaries

Now it's time for a couple of throwbacks. If, like me, you missed the wave of Vampire Diaries mania for obsessing over the lives of Manhattan's elite in Gossip Girl, then boy do we have some catching up to do  - and at a time where we need it most.

Starring Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder, The Vampire Diaries was a full-blown cultural moment when it launched onto screens in 2009. And if it's biceps you want, then these boys have the credentials, with Ian taking away the Choice Male Hottie at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards.

The supernatural drama television series, which is currently on Netflix, is a series focused on Elena Gilbert, played by Nina, who falls in love with 172-year-old vampire Stefan Salvatore and later his dangerous brother, Damon Salvatore.

Set in the supernatural-prone town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, the series follows their love triangle, the brothers' struggles with their past, and their fight to protect Elena from various supernatural threats. Sign me up!

normal people stars

Before there was Lucius Verus, there was Connell Waldron

Normal People

If the only way you're going to get through the heartbreaking end of Off Campus is by replacing one parasocial relationship for another, then Normal People is likely the right choice for your next binge session.

Starring Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones in their breakout roles, Normal People, which is currently on BBC iPlayer, is the small-screen adaptation of the best-selling novel by Colleen Hoover.

With this seriously steamy series comes a lot of real-life lore surrounding Paul and Daisy's off-screen relationship - yes, they are very sadly just friends - but their bond both on and off camera is undeniable and will make you completely lovesick.

But, warning, the show may make you obsessed with not only a 24-year-old Paul's impressively toned arms, but also inanimate objects.  The one in mind is the leading man Connell's chain, which hunky Paul loves to wear in every single scene, and we're not mad about it!

Heartthrobs in Paris? Say no more.

Emily in Paris

Netflix's Emily in Paris is one to add to your watch list if a lineup of French chefs, British bankers, and Parisian playboys is something that tickles your fancy.

The heartthrobs in question are played by Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, William Abadie and Paul Forman and star opposite Lily Collins, who plays Emily, an ambitious American marketing executive who relocates from Chicago to Paris for her dream job.

The latest series landed earlier this year, and the final instalment, series four, is currently in the making, so lots to catch up on - c'est magnifique!

If you're sleeping on Poldark, you are truly missing out

Poldark

And finally, another throwback period drama to add to the mix, Poldark. The series, which is currently on Netflix and BBC iPlayer, stars Rivals actor Aidan Turner, who plays Ross Poldark, an army officer who returns to his native Cornwall after the American Revolutionary War in 1783.

Based on a series of historical novels by Winston Graham, Poldark follows Captain Ross following his years spent fighting a war he never believed in. Disillusioned with the British Empire, the captain hopes to regain some sense of normalcy by returning to managing the land his family has mined for generations.

But on the journey home, Ross learns of his father’s death, the collapse of the mining industry in Cornwall, and the new lows his family’s name has sunk to as their debt accumulates. And what pairs better with generations-deep family anguish? Rock-solid abs and killer biceps, of course - get watching, girls!
