Jason Biggs became instantly recognisable after he took on the role of awkward teenager Jim, whose embarrassing moments helped make the film legendary.

Following American Pie, he appeared in multiple sequels as well as television comedies including Orange Is the New Black. 

Now 48, the actor is still working in the film industry alongside hosting podcasts and television projects with his wife, actress Jenny Mollen, 46. 

Alyson Hannigan stole scenes as band geek Michelle and her now-iconic line: "This one time at band camp…" has been referenced in association with the film for years after its release.

Recently, he starred in Netflix's Sweet Magnolias and embarked on a 15-year sobriety journey. He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Laina Rose Thyfault, and their two children.
