Laura Whitmore is many things: a presenter, an author, an actress, a mum and source of serious style inspiration. And now, she can officially add beauty muse to her CV as her affordable skincare routine has been revealed – and we’re putting every single product in our basket.
- Laura Whitmore announced her second pregnancy on Instagram in February
- The 41-year-old's signature skincare routine makes her glow both when pregnant and not
- She swears by Skn To Skn's Glow & Go Daily Moisturiser SPF 30 in the shade Light Tint
The 41-year-old, who is currently pregnant, uses a three-step regime that is, interestingly enough, entirely pregnancy-safe and still gives her a serious glow – a rare bonus, given how many cult ingredients and products are restricted due to the risks they pose to a developing baby.
Laura’s presenting career kicked off on MTV in 2008, after which she moved onto ITV and saw a slew of presenting jobs roll in, including the coveted Love Island hosting gig. Away from her career, she is married to Scottish presenter Iain Stirling, 38, and is currently expecting their second child.
Finding pregnancy-safe skincare products was something Laura struggled with when carrying her first child, daughter Stevie Ré, who was born in March 2021. So, fast forward to now, she has nailed down a routine that she can use no matter what stage of life she is in.
She says about her first pregnancy: “I remember standing in the bathroom Googling every ingredient, second-guessing everything I used. There’s so much confusion around what’s safe, and what actually works.”
What is Laura Whitmore’s three-step skincare routine?
Laura’s skincare routine follows a simple system: a cleanser, a serum and an SPF 30 moisturiser. She starts with Skn To Skn’s Balancing Act Cleanser, a gentle gel-to-oil formula that cleans without stripping. It contains virgin maracuja oil, Omegas 3, 6 and 9, and Vitamin E, which work together to hydrate, soften and support the skin’s natural barrier.
The second step of Laura’s skincare routine is the Skn To Skn Multi-Tasking Face Serum, which is a retinol alternative that combines peptides, azelaic acid and hyaluronic acid to reduce signs of ageing, clear hormonal breakouts and hydrate.
The final step of her routine is the Skn To Skn Glow & Go Daily Moisturiser SPF 30 in the shade Light Tint. This is a silky, multi-tasking daily cream with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and broad-spectrum mineral SPF 30 that hydrates, brightens and evens skin tone while protecting against UVA, UVB and blue light. It’s also available in the shade Deep Tint.
If there’s one thing to know about Laura, it’s that her skin is always glowing, meaning we can trust her product recommendations. Great news, then, that she has collaborated with Skn To Skn to create her very own edit of these three products, with a free leopard print washbag included to keep them all together.
Laura says: “I really wish something like this had existed when I was pregnant the first time. I selected my three favourite products from the collection. It was important to me to keep things simple – products I trust, that support my skin without the need to overthink every step.”
