If we look like Jennifer Lopez at 49, we'll be seriously happy. The singer, dancer, actress, mum and all round superwoman has us going 'wow' yet again after she shared a birthday snap on her Instagram page. The star looks absolutely incredible in the photograph, in which she appears with her family at the beach to celebrate her big day. Just a year off turning 50, JLo is seen posing in her string bikini with abs we've a) never possessed and b) are never likely to possess. You win Jen. And it's not just her super toned figure that has her fans talking – her skin is flawless!

Jen captioned the picture: "Current birthday situation... yup," as she posed, wine bottle in hand. Her snap got over 2.5million likes in just eight hours. One fan told her: "Crazy insane body." Another wrote: "All I saw was the ab lines," while one follower said, "Amazing abs! Happy Birthday to a girl who inspires me! Go getter… trend setter."

The mum-of-two, who is in a relationship with US baseball player Alex Rodriguez, is known for her healthy lifestyle and clean eating. She began her career as a professional dancer, so has always kept in shape. Alex recently told People that the pair enjoy exercising together: "She is a great jock, a former track star in school, and I enjoy working out with her," he revealed. "Jennifer and I mix it up. We like to lift, and we enjoy bike riding. She is a talented jock."

And JLo's personal trainer David Kirsch has told US Weekly: "Jennifer has crazy discipline during her workouts, which many people miss during at-home or in-the-gym exercise classes. She is able to focus on every single move that is given to her to ensure that she is doing it with reason and seeing results." He says the star likes to train with medium-sized free weights, medicine balls, TRX straps and resistance bands, as well as doing body weight exercises.

David also spoke about Jen's healthy diet, revealing: "For as long as I can remember, Jennifer's diet has always been very clean, which is key to ensuring that she stays very fit and healthy. Think: no sugar, no processed foods and no alcohol."

Now that's commitment. Better get down the gym then…
