Five decades after rising to fame as the star of the hit 1970s sci-fi series The Bionic Woman, Lindsay Wagner looks as radiant as ever. Now 77, the actress has long been open about her wellness journey, having discovered a passion for holistic health early in life.

Lindsay Wagner's holistic lifestyle

Lindsay has long been an advocate of holistic lifestyles, having first found her passion for natural wellness after suffering stomach ulcers as a child.

"I had ulcers when I was a kid," she told Fox News in 2018. "By the time I was 19 it was very bad. The doctors at UCLA wanted to operate. They have other ways of treating it these days, but they didn't back then. And my gallbladder was a mess. My minister… was very much into mind, body and spirit connection."

Lindsay revealed that her minister and his doctor friend began teaching her about meditations and "visualizations to see my stomach fully healed". She claimed that in three weeks she was healed.

Lindsay went on to study holistic healing and eventually led workshops and retreats to share her findings.

In a 2012 interview with the Daily Mail, Lindsay shared how breathwork and meditation are key to her health.

"Our breath gets shallow and ineffective when we are in a stressed state," she said. "I advocate stopping whatever you're doing for a couple of minutes five times a day, closing your eyes and taking deep breaths."
