The Same Old Love hitmaker took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes snap with her 73.5 million followers, in which she flaunted the impressive beauty look.

In the black-and-white photo, which received over one million likes within hours of being posted, Selena looks every inch a beauty icon as she faces the camera, rocking what seems to be a Mexican Day of the Dead-inspired make-up look.

The American star is seen wearing a base of white face paint, paired with skeleton detailing and floral patterns, including a rose painted on her forehead.

"Coming soon/ / REVIVAL tour '16," she simply captioned the photo, revealing no further information about the event.

No doubt Selena has been working closely with her glam squad to create show-stopping looks for the upcoming tour – and her team includes Lottie Tomlinson, the younger sister of One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson.

Lottie, who has been training with celebrity beauty guru Lou Teasdale, previously opened up about working with the star, revealing the pair first met during The X Factor.

"She was on The X Factor in the UK at the same time as [One Direction] were," Lottie told Elle. "We met backstage. She came to Lou to ask her to do her hair. She had really long hair at the time, and it was getting all knotted up.

"So I was assisting Lou with her hair, and she asked for a make-up touch-up. I said, 'Sure, I can do that!' And she liked it, and we're still in contact."
