Victoria Beckham's eponymous beauty brand is a force to be reckoned with. Her viral 'Foundation Drops' are so popular that finding your shade is quite the task, and one 'Satin Kajal Liner' is sold every thirty seconds, according to London department store Harrods.
So when the former Spice Girl releases a new product, we all sit up and listen, especially when she takes to Instagram and shows us all exactly how to apply it.
On Sunday evening, while dressed in her iconic personalised robe with a towel wrapped artfully around her scalp, Victoria applied her newest launch, the 'Blush Stylus' in shade 'Sienna'.
The wife of David Beckham took the pen-like device and drew little hearts on both her cheeks and at the top of her forehead. She then took a buffing brush and gently fanned out the shape, which created a soft, almost sun-kissed tone, a natural-looking warmth that gave her face soft fullness, and above all, a healthy flush.
After buffing out the hearts, the fashion icon explained that a top tip was to dust "any excess colour across the eyelids and cupid’s bow to tie the look together."
Does Victoria's blush method work?
We decided to call in the experts - was Victoria's latest method a gimmick, or a great lesson?
"Victoria's heart-shaped blusher placement may seem a bit random, but it does actually work," Jo Martin, international makeup artist for Paul & Joe Beauty, tells HELLO!.
"It's a clever way of placing the product consistently. Drawing a heart naturally concentrates colour on the upper cheekbone, and by blending it upwards, it will create the illusion of a more lifted face," Jo notes.
"This placement encourages a soft, diffused finish instead of a stripe of colour, resulting in skin that looks as if you’ve just returned from St. Tropez," the talented professional adds.
Victoria's 5-minute face
Victoria founded her namesake beauty brand in 2019.
"I create what I can't find on the market," Victoria previously told our sister title, HELLO! Fashion.
Victoria's products are designed to create a fuss-free, simple and classic approach to beauty, which explains why her daily makeup look doesn't take long to perfect. "I aim to do it within five minutes," she revealed.
But as we all know, makeup can only act as a temporary mask; it doesn't offer a long-standing solution to health and skincare problems - it's all about lifestyle choices, according to VB. "I do think the habits you've heard a million times work, like drinking lots of water every day! I use my LED machine most nights and have really noticed a difference in my skin, but I have to ensure I am consistent in using it," she added.
