Princess Lilibet looked so cute and so tall during a recent trip to Disneyland, California, with her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The four-year-old was seen wearing an adorable sundress, identified by Royal Fashion Police on Instagram as a past season girls' print dress from Californian brand DÔEN.
It featured a square neckline and tiny frills on the shoulder as well as a sweet ruffled hem – perfectly age-appropriate and suitable for the warm Cali weather. Her auburn hair, which is just like her father's, was swept up into a messy low bun to accommodate her pink baseball cap with Mickey Mouse ears attached.
A perfect Disney day outfit
"The first rule of children’s fashion…there are no rules. Any parent will know that for a fun day out like this, the best outfits are the ones that allow complete freedom of movement - and this floaty, easy dress does exactly that," fashion stylist Leanne Jones tells us.
"This is a past-season piece, but DÔEN's current collections are full of beautifully made dresses in organic cotton, perfect for warm weather and breathable comfort.
"I also love Meghan's commitment to her home turf here, choosing an independent Santa Barbara-born brand - a thoughtful nod to local design."
Lilibet's ballerina dress
Before this, Lilibet, whose face Meghan Markle and Prince Harry keep out of the public eye, was seen on Meghan's Instagram on Valentine's Day in February. "These two + Archie = my forever Valentines," the former Suits actress captioned a photo of Lilibet in Harry's arms in the garden of their Montecito home.
Lili looked like a tiny ballerina in a leotard, soft tutu, and baby pink tights. Balletcore dominated the fashion scene in 2025, and it's certainly a trend that can be beautifully adapted for children's wear.
Age-appropriate dressing
Laura Sutcliffe, HELLO!'s Fashion and Beauty News Editor, told us at the time of Lilibet rocking the trend: "Although this could be specific dance class attire, ballet clothes for everyday are a lovely choice for little girls as they are fun, cute, and easy to wear, yet are still presentable.
"Lots of brands have taken on this trend in their main collections, from Monsoon to M&S, who have sugary pink items this season. Reiss even has a Royal Ballet collection, featuring the 'Royal Ballet Skirt Trousers in Mauve' (£28) that includes outfits very like Lilibet's. I think it's age-appropriate and adorable."
