Princess Charlotte left royal fans swooning last week after she was seen embracing her mother, the Princess of Wales, in support after she completed the National Three Peaks Challenge.
But it wasn’t just the young royal’s adoration for her mother that caught the attention of onlookers.
Charlotte, 11, was pictured in a dark blue knitted jumper and jeans, and bore a striking resemblance to Prince William, 44, with fans pointing to a near-identical picture of the royal’s father.
While the Princess is typically seen sporting elegant dresses during royal engagements, her relaxed denim-knit combination offered a glimpse into her casual, day-to-day wear.
It’s a look that her father became famous for during his younger years; the Prince often being seen wearing a similar fashion combination when pictured off-duty.
Fans compared pictures of Charlotte with one of her father in 2001, when William, a teenager at the time, was seen wearing a similar jean-knit look.
Appearing in photographs shared to the Prince and Princess of Wales’s social media at the weekend, Charlotte paired a crewneck jumper from J.Crew with oversized Polo Ralph Lauren jeans.
Following in the footsteps of her royal relatives, she completed the look with a pair of blue-and-orange Adidas Gazelle trainers, a style previously worn by Prince Harry and Zara Tindall.
Sweeping her hair into a sleek ponytail, the young Princess also took inspiration from her mother, who is well-known for her glamorous updos.
Kate took on her "toughest challenge yet" after completing the Three Peaks Challenge, which involved climbing the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales - Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon.
The gruelling hike was in support of The Royal Marsden Hospital, where the Princess of Wales received cancer treatment in 2024.
Kate was greeted by her family at the bottom of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), including her husband, Prince William, three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight, and brother, James Middleton, 39.
"This time last week, completing the National Three Peaks Challenge," she wrote alongside a sweet carousel of photos. "A huge thank you to everybody who has supported The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity."
