Flashy, unapologetic, and dripping with rhinestones, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is a glittering parade of barely-there lace, sculpted physiques and the top model status. The spectacle is equal parts dream and excess, acting as a stage for fashion-fuelled fantasy to come to life. In short? No granny pants to be seen here.
Following a successful 2025 comeback, the highly-anticipated bash is set to return to the style sphere with a bang, welcoming swathes of celebrities and influencers alike through its jewel-encrusted doors on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
Guests will watch on as Victoria’s Secret veterans Adriana Lima, Jasmine Tookes, Barbara Palvin, Cindy Bruna, Candice Swanepoel, and Alessandra Ambrosio walk alongside new brand muses, such as Paloma Elsesser, Alex Consani, Lila Moss and Anok Yai.
However, a generous handful of iconic VS models will skip the runway, leaving many of the house’s loyal followers perplexed.
Former 'Angels' such as Cara Delevingne, Romee Strijd, Winnie Harlow, Karlie Kloss and Stella Maxwell are not set to return to the star-spangled ‘do, with many onlookers asking, why?
While we may not have the answers, we do know which beloved models will not take to the catwalk in The City of Angels. Read on to find out which famous faces are reportedly skipping the VS show this year.
Earlier this week, Victoria's Secret veteran Romee Strijd tearily announced that she would not be returning the the catwalk via social media, much to the disappointment of her loyal followers.
“It’s a no, which is fine, because rejection is part of modelling, and that’s totally fine,” she noted emotionally on her TikTok page.
In response to Romee's clip, model Frida Aasen offered some words of comfort: "I’m so sad you didn’t get it! I also went to the casting and it was a no [heart emoji] it sucks but sending you lots of love [heart emoji]"
America's Next Top Model winner Winnie Harlow was another familiar face to pass on the chance to walk the show this year.

Australian vision Miranda Kerr has parked her modelling career, focusing instead on her new brand Kora Organics and her young family.
“It meant so much to be invited to return this year, especially as it marks 20 years since my first show…. but I ultimately felt in my heart it was right to cherish this chapter as it was. Sending so much love and light to everyone in this years show!,” she wrote on social media.
Martha Hunt, whose name has become synonymous with the lingerie empire, traded in fashion show for front row, channelling her efforts into her charity Enuval instead.
Like many of her peers, Devon Windsor took some time out to focus on her family and her eponymous clothing brand. She wished her contemporaries good luck online however, writing: "Let’s take a walk down memory lane…good luck to all the angels walking tonight!"
Golden winged wonder Lais Ribeiro has turned her attention to onscreen work, taking on the role as presenter for Brazilian reality show Born To Fashion.
Despite not walking this year, Nadine Leopold shared a sweet round-up of throwback snaps from her time as a VS angel, captioning the post: "In honour of tonight’s Victoria’s Secret show, a little trip down memory lane."
