Where does Olivia Rodrigo live? Her unusual living situation revealed

The Good 4 U singer isn't quite sure where to call home…

Olivia Rodrigo has been catapulted to fame thanks to her role in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and most recently her debut album, Sour.

And with all her newfound fame has no doubt come a healthy bank balance that can afford her the luxury of living in her own home without her parents. However, Olivia admits that despite buying her first "big girl apartment" last year, she's not quite sure whether she actually lives alone.

The 19-year-old revealed that she is so close to her mom, Sophie, and her dad, Ronald, that she will often still stay at the family home, or her parents will come and stay with her "all the time".

"Technically I'm not living with my parents," the Drivers License singer said in the GQ YouTube series Actually Me in 2021.

"I got my first big girl apartment a month or two ago... But my parents come and stay with me all the time and I'd go stay with them all the time, so I don't know if I'm technically living alone, but I say I am."

Olivia still likes to stay with her parents despite moving out of the family home

Speaking to the Guardian last year, Olivia added of her move: "It's like a soft move out – my parents are there a lot of the time. But I love being alone. And I love my own solitude."

Olivia is extremely close to her mom and dad and has called them her "BFFs", admitting to the Guardian that while they are both proud of her, they would be proud whatever she did.

Speaking of the lessons they have taught her, Olivia said In a 2017 video from the Disney Channel: "My parents, they've taught me how to be kind and respectful, and to always do the right thing."
