The late Queen Elizabeth II was the epitome of elegance throughout her reign, sporting demure outfits and an unwavering smile wherever she went. She was sure to remain professional and poised at all times, but in a rare moment of fun at home with her children, the royal was caught in ultimate mum mode.
Her Majesty was snapped at her beloved Scottish home, Balmoral, with her son King Charles (then Prince) and Princess Anne, and the latter was caught in an unfortunate position, being pulled in from an open window.

The real 'dancing queen' Queen Elizabeth II
It turns out that Her Majesty was a secret mover behind closed doors, an insider has revealed. Angela Kelly, was the Queen's dresser for 25 years and she reflected on their time spent together choosing, citing the monarch's partiality for disco music.
She explained that King Charles's mother loved ABBA and would move "side to side" every time the band's hit, 'Dancing Queen', would come on the radio and that the pair had great fun together.
After the Queen's death in 2022, Angela gave a rare interview to Vanity Fair. She said: "When the song came on, she loved it, and both of us would dance. The queen would move from side to side and sing. Her Majesty loved singing and had a good voice. I didn’t.
"I’d get carried away and be dancing all round her like I was at a disco, and the Queen would tell me to 'move over' because I can’t sing, and we laughed. They were moments to cherish, to see the queen so relaxed.
There's another royal that can't resist a boogie, and that's Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle. We've seen her energetically join in with dancers at the Nyanga township in Africa, bust a move on Instagram and even twerk while in labour. Most recently, the Duchess was captured dancing barefoot in a video in her kitchen in Montecito. The royal was celebrating her 45th birthday while wearing a sparkling "Happy Birthday" tiara alongside a huge bundle of balloons.
