The Duchess of Sussex has just launched a brand new As Ever Christmas advent calendar, and shortly after the announcement was made about the exciting new product, the royal posted a throwback video to her Christmas planning in June.
The 45-year-old posted a clip to her Instagram Stories showing herself driving a golf cart around what could be her Montecito estate, followed by a short clip of an advent calendar and one more featuring one of her pet dogs playing with a toy. The clips had a festive tune overlaid by Michael Bublé.
Meghan is joined in the cart by a male in all black, who is the owner of Compartes, the chocolate brand collaborating on the calendar. He smiles at the camera and raises his hands gleefully as Meghan tells him to: "Hang on." He then says: "Stay tuned."
Meghan was wearing a casual jumper, jeans and a baseball cap while busy working. In contrast, the royal was looking super glam in the campaign shot she released to accompany the advent calendar promotion. The mum-of-two looked perfectly polished in a seasonal outfit, consisting of a cream knitted jumper and forest green skirt. She accessorised beautifully with golden jewellery, providing us festive outfit inspiration as well as a product for our pre-Christmas wish list!
The advent calendar is dark blue and features boxes filled with festive chocolates. When Meghan shared the product update, she penned: "Created in collaboration with celebrated Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés, our limited-edition Advent Calendar arrives tomorrow for holiday pre-order.
"Reserve yours beginning tomorrow for November delivery, just in time for the season of anticipation to begin. Some things are worth the wait."
A different Christmas for the Sussexes
The festive season will be looking very different for Meghan and her family this year as they are now back in the UK, following six years of living stateside. Since the Sussexes have returned home, we've seen them fully embrace the Great British countryside, enjoying outdoor walks and cosy pub lunches.
It will be a magical time for both of Meghan's young children, who will no doubt be full of festive cheer for the whole month of December.
Speaking about how she celebrates the holiday with her two children in a 2024 interview with Marie Claire, she explained: "At first, I think as a mum with children you're just enjoying having them there, but they're not understanding everything that's happening yet. But now we're at the age where I just can't wait to see it through their lens every year."
