Denmark's Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik are enjoying a family break in Verbier. The royal couple were photographed on Sunday, laughing and playing in the snow with their four children during their annual skiing holiday. Mary and Frederik hit the slopes with Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent who were all suitably dressed in brightly coloured ski suits.

Royal watchers observed how nine-year-old Christian and seven-year-old Isabella appeared to have grown since they were snapped on their snowy getaway in February 2014. Mary and Frederik's twins, Vincent and Josephine, were as enthused as their older siblings as they screamed with laughter while riding toboggans.

The family's skiing holiday is an annual tradition and every year they enjoy a break from their royal duties in the Swiss Alps. Mary and Frederik are often not the only members of the Danish royal family who spend their winter holiday in mountainous region. Last year Prince Frederik's younger brother Prince Joachim and his wife Princess Marie also headed to Switzerland with their brood. The resort town has previously attracted other royals and celebrities including Prince William and Prince Harry, their cousins Beatrice and Eugenie, and the Beckham family.
