Balmoral, calling
As mentioned, Princess Anne is in Scotland for her birthday vacation before heading to the King's Scottish residence, Balmoral.
The royals have been spending their summer holidays at the wonderful and vast estate for decades. The tradition began with Queen Victoria when she acquired the estate in 1852.
The tradition was then kept up for years by Queen Elizabeth II and now continues to be a favoured summer spot by King Charles and Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and also Prince William and Kate.
There have been some fabulous photos of the royals at Balmoral over the years that we rounded up into a gallery.
Ciao for now
That's all from me, folks. I'll be leaving you in the very capable hands of our writer Beatriz Colon, who is based in the Big Apple.
Until next time...
With Love, Meghan coming sooner than you think!
The Duchess of Sussex has confirmed that season two of her hit Netflix series is coming in only two weeks time, on August 26, along with a star-studded list of guest stars. See more details here, and the exciting first look below!
Prince William's 'measured' approach to reassuring Princess Charlotte in public
Onlookers only have to observe the Prince of Wales with his children for a short amount of time to see their close bond in action. Whether laughing and joking at Wimbledon or sharing in the victory of the Lionesses at the Euros final, Prince William, 43, and Princess Charlotte, 10, have shown they are tight while at public outings.
But in 2022, Prince William was seen with his daughter Princess Charlotte on a public outing with his wife, the Princess of Wales, 43, and it seemed the young royal needed a moment of reassurance as she watched the England v India Women's hockey match during the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Revisit the moment here, along with Swift Psychology's child and adolescent therapist Laura Gwilt has to say about William's parenting approach.
Queen Letizia's daughter prepares to leave family home
Just months after returning home to Madrid from the UK, Infanta Sofia, 18, is set for another major move away from home, as it's been confirmed that King Felipe and Queen Letizia's youngest daughter will study Politics and International Relations at Forward College. Read more about it here.
Goodnight!
