Kate is a fashion Queen in 80s style

We've got more info on Kate's look now, as our fashion and beauty editor Laura Sutcliffe has put together all the details.

Kate, 44, looked as stylish as ever in her formal outfit, which consisted of a glorious navy blue Catherine Walker coat dress, which featured bold 80s style shoulder pads and delicate pleated skirt detail.

The mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis wore her trademark brunette hair in a lightly curled style, and her makeup looked as fresh and flawless as always.

Princess Anne's meaningful accessory

The Princess Royal has revived one of her rarely-seen accessories.

The sister of King Charles styled it out in green, but it was her glittering accessory that caught our attention at the Commonwealth Service today.

She was all smiles as she arrived at the service alongside her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence.

You can read all about the jewels here - our lifestyle writer, Katie Daly, has the details.

Why Princess Anne appeared to avoid greeting Princess Kate with a kiss at Commonwealth Day

Princess Anne and Princess Kate both made a stylish appearance alongside the royal party for the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on Monday. However, while greeting the royal party inside the Abbey, Princess Anne avoided giving the Princess of Wales a traditional kiss on the cheek for a practical reason.

Anne and Kate both accessorised for the royal outing with statement hats that colour-coordinated with their outfits. The Princess of Wales looked radiant in a blue dress and matching wide-brimmed hat, while the Princess Royal wore an elegant headpiece the same shade of emerald green as her attire for the formal occasion. While the rest of the royals all gave warm hellos, the notable size of Anne and Kate's hats appeared to get in the way of a formal greeting between the pair.

Princess Beatrice's £1.5m gifted home from Queen Elizabeth she turned down

Princess Beatrice is currently keeping a low profile amid the fallout surrounding her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest on his 66th birthday, 19 February, on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The princess is able to lie low at her rural Cotswolds home away from public view, but had her choices gone in a different direction, the princess previously had the option to share a home with her sister in Surrey.

In 1997, Beatrice, 37, who is married to property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and her sister, Princess Eugenie, 35, were gifted a property by their grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II. The £1.5 million Birch Hall in Surrey was offered to the daughters of Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, with the Grade II-listed seven-bedroom property having been purchased by trustees acting on behalf of the Queen, but the princesses never actually moved in.

Queen Camilla hosted a reception as President of Women of the World to celebrate International Women's Day on Tuesday afternoon.

Camilla greeted star-studded guests, including Helen Mirren, Harriet Walter, Miriam Margolyes, Penny Lancaster and Hannah Waddingham, before delivering a moving speech to mark the occasion.

"It was given to me last month by Gisèle Pelicot, whom I was honoured and delighted to meet for tea, to hear her story in person, told with grace, strength and, above all, determination that the world’s view of violence against women and girls must shift dramatically.

"As she said in her address to Parliament, “Changing legislation is far easier than changing attitudes. For victims to speak out, society also has to be ready to listen and to hold their hand."

"Hello darling, how are you?" the actress said, before telling the queen: "Will you tell His Majesty that we love him and we want him to get better and to take no notice of anyone who criticises him because he’s just wonderful."

Queen Camilla stands with victims of violence in her speech

Elsewhere in her speech, Queen Camilla delivered some stark statistics.

"A woman is murdered by a man every three days in the UK. 62% of these women are killed by partners or ex-partners: 70% in the sanctuary of their own home," she said.

"Almost a third of women in England and Wales have endured domestic abuse. 1 in 4 women have been raped or sexually assaulted. And over 70% of women in the UK say that they have been harassed in public. Each of us is, therefore, certain either to have experienced some form of abuse personally, or know a woman or a girl who has."

She continued: "To every survivor of every kind of violence, many of whom have not been able to tell their stories or who have not been believed, please know that you are not alone.  We stand with you and alongside you, today and every day, in solidarity, sorrow and sympathy.

"Every woman has a story. And these stories must be told. Because when we live in a culture of silence, we empower violence against women and girls. It is for this reason that, for 15 years, WOW has been sharing women’s experiences through their festivals, inspiring thousands of people across six continents to take action."
