The Sussexes will be bracing themselves today as Tom Bower’s scathing new book on the royal couple is released today - titled Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family.

Meanwhile, today Prince William will visit the 1st Battalian at Bulford in Wiltshire as Colonel-in-chief of the regiment and Princess Anne will visit Strathcarron Hospice and the Changemakers Fundraising Gala.

Trailblazing Queen Camilla

Queen Camilla has become the first female royal to be granted membership at the ultra-exclusive London's elite Garrick Club, as reported by the MailOnline. The club's 200-year history has had a firm male-only policy until 2024, when women were granted access, and now the King's wife is one of the members.

Prince William has greeted female members of the 1st Battalian at Bulford in Wiltshire, while wearing an all camoflauge army outfit. At one point, the royal even donned the appropriate beret, looking the part has he toured the grounds.

Queen Elizabeth II 68 years ago

Queen Elizabeth II sported an array of headpieces during her reign - including her crown, beautiful tiaras and very impressive hats. On 26 March in 1958, Her Majesty rocked a unique headband with a statement butterfly feature. It was the perfect accessory for her appearance at a flower auction in Aalsmeer, in the Netherlands, on a trip she attend alongside her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Princess Beatrice's husband backtracks

Princess Kate's unusual gesture during church service with Prince William

The Princess of Wales appeared alongside her husband, Prince William, for the Archbishop of Canterbury's installation at the Kent cathedral on Wednesday.

Princess Diana's brother's change to childhood home

Earl Spencer has made a change to Althorp House, the impressive stately home where he grew up with his sister, Princess Diana

Taking to Instagram, Earl Spencer, 61, revealed a staircase which had been adorned with fresh carpet. "New midsection to the carpet on the main stairs in the Saloon (central hall) at Althorp House. Handwoven and hopefully set to last for a century," he penned, captioning the post. "The Spencer 'S' holding it all together nicely, I hope."

The Duke of Kent visits World War II codebreakers

The Duke Of Kent made a special visit to the veterans at Bletchley Park, who worked as secret codebreakers in a covert mission during during World War II. 

In pictures posted to the Royal Family's Instagram, the caption read: "The visit marks 30 years since HRH first opened the site as a visitor attraction, and consequently became Patron of the charity.

"The Duke’s three decades-long patronage of the Trust, responsible for preserving and maintaining @BletchleyParkUK, has helped secure its future as one of the world’s most celebrated heritage attractions - recognised globally for its pivotal role in Allied codebreaking during World War II.

"During his visit, HRH also toured The Age of AI exhibition, which explores the connection between the groundbreaking wartime work carried out at Bletchley Park and the modern world."

Sarah Ferguson loses city title

Sarah Ferguson has lost her Freedom of the City of York title after councillors voted unanimously to remove the honor over her links to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Speaking during the debate, Liberal Democrat councillor Darryl Smalley said: “We now know, following the release of thousands of documents, that Sarah Ferguson too had a close friendship with Epstein, which continued well beyond his conviction.

“We don’t expect recipients of York’s highest honour to be saints. We simply do not want them to be best friends of convicted paedophiles."

More details as Sarah Feguson is stripped of honour

Sarah Ferguson has been stripped of her Freedom of York honour, after being bestowed the honour in 1987, a year after her marriage to the then-Prince Andrew, who lost the title in 2022. 

The honour recognises notable service by local residents, distinguished people, and royalty. Other recipients include Sir Winston Churchill and actress Dame Judi Dench. 

Liberal Democrat councillor Darryl Smalley, who put the motion forward, said at the time: "Having been stripped of his military roles and royal patronages by the Queen, we believe that it is right to remove all links that Prince Andrew still has with our great city."

William's new look?

Shuld we expect a new look from the Prince of Wales soon? William has been rocking a beard as part of his style since 2024, even though his only daughter, Princess Charlotte, isn't a fan of his facial hair, but he has now revealed he has been inspired by  members of the 1st Battalion The Mercian Regiment.

Harry's fears

The relationship between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Prince William and Kate, is explored in Tom Bower's new book, Betrayal: Power, Deceit And The Fight For The Future Of The Royal Family,  in which Tom alleges Harry feared that his brother William may show "no mercy" towards his family, after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his titles.
