Eight years after their magical Windsor wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have marked their anniversary by releasing a selection of previously unseen photos from their big day. The couple, who tied the knot on 19 May 2018 at St George's Chapel, are no doubt celebrating the milestone with their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, four, back home in Montecito, just days after Meghan's trip to Geneva.
The post included several photos of the couple taking centre stage on the dance floor during the wedding reception, while another showed the pair sharing a passionate kiss while surrounded by their guests.
In a separate post, the Duchess of Sussex shared a carousel of snaps from the ceremony held at Windsor Castle, including one of the newlyweds sharing a tender moment after their nuptials, and another behind-the-scenes photo of the pair having their official wedding portrait taken.
While some of the photos were shown in the Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary, which was released in 2022, Meghan also shared some previously unseen images.
In the caption for both posts, Meghan wrote: "Eight years ago today," before crediting their "wonderful" photographer Chris Allerton.
Over the years, they have released various pictures, including one black-and-white image, in which Harry and Meghan are seen laughing together, while another captured the evening reception at Frogmore House, where Meghan wore a Stella McCartney gown.
The couple's wedding, which featured guests including Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams, remains one of the most widely watched royal events in recent history. Since then, Harry and Meghan have stepped back from royal duties and now live in California with their children, Archie and Lilibet.
They continue their work through the Archewell Foundation and various media projects.
Last year, the couple were understood to have gone on a romantic spa break in Arizona, as previously stated by HELLO!.
Far from slowing down, 2026 has already proven to be one of the couple's most ambitious years since their move to California.
Last month, Harry and Meghan embarked on a four-day trip to Australia, marking their first visit to the country since 2018, when they were still working royals.
During one of her appearances, the former Suits actress spoke candidly about the challenges of her public life, describing it as "very hard" at times.
She also reflected on the "amazing moments" she has experienced since meeting Harry in 2016, including their marriage and the arrival of their two children, while acknowledging the intense scrutiny she has faced.
