The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary with a series of adorable home videos.
Meghan took to social media to share pictures from the pair's wedding day in 2018, but also shared several new videos taken on May 19, 2026, that saw their two children wish them a "happy anniversary" by singing to the tune of "Happy Birthday". Watch the video above.
The video highlighted Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet's sweet voices as they joined Harry in singing "happy anniversary to mama," as Harry carried in the cake, with Meghan adding, "And Papa."
The lemon and elderflower cake - the same as their wedding cake - was adorned with candles and a white rose, and as the pair kissed, one of the children could be heard chanting: "Blow them, blow them!"
Meghan also shared a video of the anniversary gift from Harry, a bronze sculpture of two penguins arm in arm.
"When mama and papa, when we got engaged, we had a party with all of our friends, and we said everyone should wear an animal onesie, and we were penguins because they mate for life," Meghan could be heard telling Archie and Lili.
In the envelope, which Harry had addressed to "the one and only," he had also included a selfie the pair took during their party in the penguin costumes.
Eight years after their Windsor wedding, Meghan marked their anniversary by also releasing a selection of previously unseen photos from their big day, including several photos of the couple taking centre stage on the dance floor during the wedding reception.
Another showed the pair sharing a passionate kiss while surrounded by their guests.
In a separate post, the Duchess of Sussex shared a carousel of snaps from the ceremony held at Windsor Castle, including one of the newlyweds sharing a tender moment after their nuptials.
The couple's wedding saw guests include George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams, and it remains one of the most widely watched royal events in recent history.
Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and now live in Montecito, California with their children, Archie and Lilibet.
However, they have continued their philanthropic duties with the Archewell Foundation, and have also formed business partnerships with companies such as Spotify and Netflix.
In April 2026, the pair also embarked on a quasi-royal trip to Australia, where HELLO! reported that they appeared to reveal their increasingly "diverging" interests.
While Harry focused on philanthropy, Meghan, who is building her As Ever lifestyle brand, incorporated commercial opportunities into the trip Down Under.
Alongside visiting a children’s hospital and serving up food at a women’s refuge, she ended the trip with a lucrative appearance as a speaker at a weekend wellness retreat in Sydney, and revealed that she had invested in AI-powered fashion discovery platform OneOff, where she launched her own page for fans to shop her wardrobe during the tour – leading to accusations she was cashing in on her royal title.
