The Princess of Wales' parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, stepped out together at Ascot Ladies' Day ahead of their 46th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Stepping out at the royally-loved horse race event on Thursday, the happily married couple were all smiles as they were photographed inside the royal enclosure alongside senior members of the royal family.
Carole didn't disappoint with her race day look for the occasion, wearing an elegant duck egg blue A-line dress which she paired with a matching hat and nude pointed-toe stilettos.
As for Michael, the father-of-three stepped out looking rather dashing in his race day attire, wearing grey striped trousers, a taupe waistcoat and a black morning coat, his ensemble punctuated with a coral tie.
This is the first time we have seen Michael since his appearance at Kate's Together at Christmas carol service.
Carole's 'unique' role in the royal fold
As well as being photographed with her adoring husband, Carole spent time with Zara Tindall, who was also in attendance at Ladies' Day.
Zara brought her usual royal glamour to the racecourse, this time wearing a beautiful butter yellow ensemble by one of her go-to designers, Rebecca Vallance.
As for her accessories, Zara opted for a pair of earrings by Kiki McDonough - who was recently granted a royal warrant by Queen Camilla. When it came to her shoes, the mother-of-three slipped into a champagne-hued pair of stilettos, completing her race-day look with a hat and bag combination by Sarah Cant and the FINLAY Tavistock Sunglasses in Champagne.
Carole and Zara looked incredibly close as they sat in the royal box chatting. According to HELLO!'s News Director, Laura Benjamin, Carole has taken on the role as the ultimate royal confidante in the months following Andrew Mountbatten Windsor's arrest.
Laura explains: "Carole has taken on a unique position as one of the most steadfast supporters of the Firm, who have long appreciated her calm support and reliable discretion.
"Her warmth and loyalty have been called upon as she has been drawn into the centre of the family to support the Windsors in the face of the crisis surrounding the recent arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windso
