Love was in the air at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday between Peter Phillips and his bride Harriet Phillips (née Sperling)

After making their post-wedding debut at Royal Ascot on Tuesday, the newlyweds returned for round two at the races on 20 June, looking very loved-up in their own bubble with public displays of affection.

Princess Anne's son held hands with his bride in the pre-parade ring and had his arm around her back as he held her close in the royal box. The couple animatedly watched the day five racing together and exchanged gleaming smiles as they looked to be basking in their newlywed bliss.

Ascot outing

For their trackside date on Saturday, Harriet looked lovely in a bridal-inspired look while her husband Peter dressed in a three-piece suit and top hat – the typical dress code for men at Ascot. Harriet wore a white Beulah dress with a semi-sheer section and a netted hat from Jane Taylor.

The newlywed complemented her dress with gorgeous jewellery from Pragnell, glittering shoes from Manolo Blahnik x Emilia Wickstead and a STOW London bag. She finished off her race day attire by styling her blonde tresses up in a low bun with strands framing her face.

Four days earlier, Harriet and Peter made their first public appearance after their Cotswolds wedding at Royal Ascot on 16 June. Harriet, who wore an elegant duck egg blue gown by Suzannah London and a matching hat by Jane Taylor London, arrived in a carriage with her mother-in-law, Princess Anne and showed off her sisterly bond with sister-in-law Zara Tindall as the pair were seen chatting trackside.

Wedding day

Harriet and Peter tied the knot on 6 June at All Saints Church, which is located in Kemble, Cirencester, close to where the bride grew up. The couple said "I do" in front of members of the royal family, including the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales and Peter's mother, Princess Anne.

Harriet stunned in an Emilia Wickstead gown that took 140 hours to make. The bespoke bridal gown featured a high square neckline, long lace sleeves and a sweeping veil, teamed with matching white Jimmy Choo heels. She paired the dress with a vintage diamond and pearl tiara loaned by Pragnell.

Designer Emilia Wickstead revealed the custom wedding gown was crafted by the in-house team at their West London atelier.

"Every element is rooted in a signature Emilia Wickstead silhouette and realised in Italian ivory crêpe, overlaid with exceptionally fine French Leavers lace featuring an all-over prairie flower motif that continues to the edge of Harriet’s veil. The lace is meticulously hand-applied throughout," the designer shared.
