The Duke of Sussex has had a busy week of engagements, and on Saturday, he carried out his final one with a visit to Scotty's Little Soldiers.

While attending their summer festival at Maxstoke Castle, Warwickshire, Harry took part in a Q+A with children supported by the charity, even making a reference to his own kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. One of the questions came from Poppy, nine, who lost her father, Able Seaman Daniel Turnbull, in July 2020 from leukaemia.

When asked how he dealt with his own difficult days, a touched Harry replied: "You know what, sometimes it’s just a difficult day. It's not always possible to laugh, but my dog makes me laugh, my children make me laugh and if I need to laugh I'll probably put something really funny on the television.

"But, and this goes for all of you, there are some days when you'd like to laugh but it might not always be possible to laugh. But you’ve got brothers and sisters, friends, this community…  but yes I think the point is that a laugh at the end of a hard day is the best medicine served."

Answering other questions, Harry said the superpower he most desired was the ability to improve people's days by touching them on the shoulder, and he revealed that Botswana was his favourite country, due to the "space and the animals and the beauty".

The African country is special to both Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, and when he proposed to the former actress, the engagement ring carried a diamond from the nation.

Harry also took part in a 'Goat Yoga' session

Elsewhere on the engagement, Harry took part in a goat yoga session, joking: "Is there health and safety? Do they bite?" He also allowed himself to be trampled by the goats, while also staring one down in a separate exercise.

In a race with another child, River, three, Harry found himself on the receiving end of several water bombs, even taking one of them to the face.

Prince Harry's week in the United Kingdom

Harry didn't have the easiest start to his week, with the royal being turned down from staying in Buckingham Palace after missing the deadline. The following day, he also lost his court case against Associated Newspapers Limited, which publishes titles including the Daily Mail.

The day after, Harry dodged the media as he carried out an engagement at the Royal Chelsea Hospital. Media were stopped from attending the event owing to the heatwave, and they joined him later in the week at an engagement at a children's hospital in Birmingham.

Before the end of his week, Harry was joined by his wife and their two children, with the family reuniting with King Charles and Queen Camilla for the first time since 2022.

Details about the private family reunion were kept under wraps, but it marks a continued thawing in relationships between Harry and Charles. The pair had previously met in September 2025, having a private meeting and tea for around 50 minutes.
