He might be just days away from his 13th birthday and becoming a teenager, but Prince George has proven that some things never change.
The future King isn't afraid to show his close bond with his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, even in public – as was seen during his visit to Wimbledon last Sunday.
A very animated George, 12, dressed in a navy suit and striped tie, was seen chatting to his father, Prince William, as they watched the Men's Singles final, with Italian player Jannik Sinner claiming the title.
Footage from the BBC's live broadcast shows George turning to his father and clearly mouthing "Papa", before commenting on the tennis.
"It's so good to see George laughing and smiling!" one royal watcher commented.
So sweet!
What do the royal family call their parents?
While George has opted for the "mama" and "papa" route, his younger sister, Princess Charlotte, has called Kate "mummy" multiple times in the past, for example, when they volunteered at a local scout hut in Slough in 2023.
Prince Louis, however, sweetly referred to his mum as "mama", whilst Kate called William "papa".
The royal trio is also said to call their grandfather, King Charles, "Grandpa Wales", and Queen Camilla, "GaGa".
William and Harry call King Charles "Pa", as evidenced in the latter's 2023 autobiography, Spare.
Prince George steals the show at Wimbledon
The young royal stole the show at Wimbledon, looking very stylish in a fedora and sunglasses while entertaining his sister, Charlotte.
As George stood beside his father, Prince William, people soon noted that he looked taller than ever and almost towered over his mother.
Royal fans have watched George grow from a shy page boy at family weddings into a poised young royal who is increasingly comfortable carrying out public engagements.
He will turn 13 on 22 July and will be going to secondary school from September, attending Eton College like his father before him.
William, Kate, George and Charlotte had arrived at the All England Club shortly after 3pm on Sunday and greeted a line-up of guests, including British wildcard Arthur Fery.
Later, during a conversation with Wimbledon winner Jannik Sinner, George and Charlotte revealed that they play tennis on the weekends.
Sinner asked George if he was still playing tennis, to which the 12-year-old responded: "Yeah, very much so."
