Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi appears to have taken inspiration from Prince William and Kate's go-to social media move with his latest family message.
Princess Beatrice's husband, 42, shared a loving tribute to his wife with a special Instagram post on Saturday to mark her 38th birthday.
He shared a stunning slew of snaps of their happy times, from holidays to a behind-the-scenes glimpse of them arriving at Harriet and Peter Phillips' wedding in June.
It seems Edo has taken some lessons in royal social media, as his caption looked very familiar – and he's taken inspiration from the best.
The property developer wrote: "Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife. We love so much. You make our world 🌎. Love E,W,S,A xxxx."
Like the Waleses, who often sign off their personal social media posts with their initials, Edo ended his post with his own monogram, as well as son Wolfie and daughters Sienna, four, and Athena, one.
It makes for a subtle yet personal approach to social media. For example, for Prince William's birthday in June, his family wrote: "Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World! We love you very much. C, G, C & L."
Happy birthday, Princess Beatrice!
The Italian property mogul shared a photo of the couple during a sunset, with the sea stretching out behind them.
"Happy birthday my love," Edo also wrote on his Instagram story in all caps, putting any recent reports of marital strain to rest with the happy selection of photos.
Back in March, friends of the pair told HELLO! that rumours of marital strife between the pair were "not true at all", saying they were navigating "busy jobs and looking after their children".
Beatrice was marking double celebrations at the weekend, as not only was she turning 38, but she was also celebrating becoming an aunt again after her sister Princess Eugenie welcomed a baby daughter at the start of last week.
Sarah Ferguson 'never approved' of Edoardo
It comes after a royal expert claimed that Beatrice's mother, Sarah Ferguson, "never approved" of her daughter's marriage to Edo.
Beatrice and Edoardo tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor in 2020.
Author of Entitled, Andrew Lownie, told the Daily Mail that Beatrice and Eugenie's husbands have encouraged them to "distance" themselves from their parents, who have been plagued by recent scandals over their links to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
According to Lownie, there were pre-existing tensions between Sarah and her son-in-law, and the relationship has been strained further.
It's not currently known where Sarah is residing, though she was last reported to be staying in Switzerland with her ex-partner, Paddy McNally, before he passed away.
