Pippa Middleton will be preparing for an intimate birthday celebration for her husband, who is turning 51 today. The Princess of Wales's younger sister, 42, will likely be gifting her husband, James Matthews, an assortment of gifts and spending quiet time together as a family.

The family, who usually keep milestone moments private, will enjoy a fun-filled day with their three children, Arthur, seven, Grace, five, and Rose, four, at their home, Bucklebury Farm in Berkshire.

The couple purchased the £1.5 million estate, which has 72 acres of land and includes a deer park and children's play areas, in 2020, relocating from their Georgian townhouse in London. In 2024, the farm's Instagram account offered a glimpse inside the glamorous barn, giving fans an idea of what birthday celebrations might look like.

Pippa's parents live just a stone's throw away from the Berkshire estate, so they will undoubtedly be taking part in the festivities with James, a hedge fund manager who married their daughter in 2017.

Unfortunately, James's sister-in-law Princess Kate will not be joining in on the celebrations as she is currently staying at Balmoral in Scotland with the rest of the royals.

The family put on a united front today as they were pictured out for the first time since it was revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be returning to the UK.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are also at Balmoral, while Princess Anne, Zara and Mike Tindall, Prince Edward and James, Earl of Wessex, were pictured driving into the estate on Friday morning.

Pippa and James will hopefully be able to enjoy a moment of peace after a tense row with their neighbours, who asked that they dig up their "insightly car park".

Pippa and James built the car park without permission after West Berkshire Council rejected an appeal, saying that it didn't fit with the "beauty, landscape, character, or rural setting" of the area.

The car park was described as "visually intrusive and urbanised", raising concerns that it would interfere with the nearby River Kennet chalk stream. Pippa's appeal to overturn the ruling was dismissed in July, according to The Telegraph.
