The champagne is chilled, and the horticultural masterpieces are in full bloom, but let’s be completely honest: while the gold-medal gardens are spectacular, the real show-stopping displays at this year's Chelsea Flower Show are happening right on the gravel paths. And who is leading the sartorial pack? The fabulous women over 50, of course.

Long gone are the days when dressing for a garden party meant defaulting to a safe pastel cardigan or a predictable, dainty floral shift. This year, our favourite mature style icons have thrown out the old rules entirely. From sharp tailoring in unexpected hues to bold, structural statement capes, the fashion on display proves that style doesn't just grow finer with age - it gets even more exciting.

So, grab a cup of tea (or a glass of Pimm's!) as we take a stroll through the best-dressed list of ladies. These blooming gorgeous looks prove that style after 50 is all about dressing for nobody but yourself - and looking absolutely sensational while doing it.
