We predict a sell-out! Lidl has launched a new range of incredible pool inflatables just in time for the summer holidays, and you don't need to splash out to get one. The kitsch designs – including flamingos, watermelons and unicorns – all cost just £6.99 each, a steal compared to other similar inflatables on the high street.

The fun accessories have become a holiday essential for Instagram-worthy pool snaps, with Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon and Emily Ratajkowski among the stars who couldn't resist posing for fun social media posts with their own colourful inflatables over the past couple of years. Who can forget Taylor's photo on an inflatable swan with then-boyfriend Calvin Harris in 2015?

And with designs including ice cream cones, pineapples and pizza slices available in Lidl from 15 June, you can join them on your own summer break. But you'll have to get in quick, as these bargain inflatables are only available while stocks last, and it's going to be hard to resist snapping them all up!

MORE: There's an inflatable unicorn island in Asia - and we can't deal

Lidl isn't the only retailer to get involved in the novelty pool accessories trend; Primark has also launched a selection of inflatable lilos and swim rings in the shape of seashells, gumball machines and doughnuts, all priced at £10 or less. And the budget store has gone one step further with its blow-up bounty by offering inflatable cup holders - because obviously we need our cocktails to float, too. Choose from an adorable burger bun or unicorn design, for a tiny £1 each, to keep your summer drink safe.

But the ultimate destination for fans of the kitsch inflatables has to be the Philippines, where a floating unicorn island has been created with inflatable slides, towers, bridges, 'human launchers' and more. Inflatable Island claims to be the biggest floating playground in Asia, and for 2018 it has created a new Unicorn Island section, complete with larger-than-life unicorns and rainbows – an Instagrammers paradise.
