Katy Perry has been hard at work on her "Prismatic" tour, so the Roar singer took a well-deserved break and jetted off to two of the most popular Greek islands with her family for some R&R. Luckily for her fans, she's been posting several photos along the way to provide a glimpse of her lavish sun-soaked holiday in Mykonos and Santorini.
Fans first got a taste of her travels when the pop star posted a snap on Instagram of her pedicure that featured the classic Greek evil eye symbol painted on her toes. "Greece, it was love at first sight. Evil eyes of protection painted toes by @nailsbymh," she wrote to her 22 million followers.
More stunning shots showed off the stunning Greek scenery and classic whitewashed buildings with blue doors and picturesque blue-domed churches nestled atop steep volcanic cliffs. The starlet followed up with another beautiful picture of herself standing on a balcony with a crystal blue sea behind her. "Oh my Goddess," she wrote.
Clearly taking in the sites, the 30-year-old shared another picture at the harbour wearing a colourful Missoni jumpsuit and then shared a video of what appeared to be the singer travelling back towards a massive yacht in the Aegean sea, with the caption, "home sweet home."
Katy is the latest of a long list of celebrities to enjoy the secluded sandy shores, breathtaking sunsets and bustling night life that make the Greek islands among the hottest holiday destinations.
Clearly a family girl, the Dark Horse singer posted a sweet photo with her sister Angela and niece Stella wearing matching Lorraine Schwartz evil eye bracelets. "Sisters & Stella," she captioned the picture.
Actress Kate Hudson has also just returned from the idyllic setting, having spent time there with mum Goldie Hawn, her sons, ex Matt Belamy and other friends. Other celebs to have graced the islands include the Kardashians, John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lindsay Lohan.
