Sharon Stone has become synonymous with sleek bobs and slicked-back pixie cuts ever since she traded her luscious long locks for a dramatic chop in 1998. She never looked back – until now.

The actress sported her longest hair in decades as she stepped out for the 2026 TCM Classic Film Festival at The Egyptian Theatre earlier this month. Sharon's golden blonde locks were cut to chest-length with face-framing tendrils. Her hair was styled into a soft blowout with a middle parting and wispy layers for the occasion.

As for her sartorial agenda, Sharon opted for an elegant white suit that consisted of a structured blazer adorned with tortoiseshell buttons and a pair of matching tailored pants. The jacket was left open and layered over a coordinated white sleeveless vest. The look was completed with a pair of patent Gucci horsebit loafers, a chunky gold chain bracelet, and a gold ring. Sharon's complexion was left natural and radiant, courtesy of a pinch of blush and a rosy-stained lip.

Sharon's longer hair

Tina Farey, editorial director at Rush, spoke to us about Sharon's longer locks. "Sharon Stone ditched her chic shoulder-length lob in favour of a style which was reminiscent of her look in the 90s," she shared. "The actress paired her bouncy blow-dry with a gorgeous cashmere blonde – a low-maintenance shade, which is rooted in warmth. This soft, glamorous hue seamlessly blends with a naturally lighter base colour, whilst the addition of beige, caramel and honey ribbons add depth and dimension."

She continued: "To achieve this sophisticated look, it’s all about colour placement and ensuring that the highlights are placed strategically throughout the hair to emphasise volume and brightness. Cashmere blonde is the perfect shade to brighten Sharon’s cool toned skin - making her ice blue eyes pop!"

Tina also shared an insight into how to achieve the chic hairstyle. "Sharon wore her hair in a bouncy blow-dry which injected volume and movement into her hair, incorporating one of this season’s top blow-dry trends – the 'c-curl'. As the name suggests, the silhouette curves inwards and mirrors the letter 'c', with the layers being left on the longer side to achieve that curved appearance. With a triangular face shape, her sharp jawline and gorgeous high cheekbones are her most defining features – this pairs beautifully with her longer locks," she added.

Sharon is clearly a fan of experimenting with hair extensions, as just a few days later she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! sporting her signature slicked-back bob once again. She wore an olive-green mini dress by Saint Laurent. The semi-sheer garment, which exposed Sharon's bra, featured an asymmetric neckline and figure-hugging silhouette that was adorned with ruched detailing.
