Playing on-screen love interests spilled into real life for several TV stars, who said "I do" after falling in love on set.

While some, like True Blood's Stephen Moyer, knew they were going to propose within days of meeting their character's better half, others' chemistry on-screen soon fizzled out in the real world.

Stephen Moyer knew he wanted to marry his co-star Anna Paquin just days after they began filming the vampire hit True Blood. "By day three or four – oh, this is going to sound so syrupy – but I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. It was within seconds, really, and it just became a thing," he said on Watch What Happens Live.

The couple married on August 21, 2010, in a private ceremony in Malibu, California. They are now parents to twins Poppy and Charlie, and Anna is also a stepmother to Stephen's two older children from previous relationships.

Alexis Bledel may have played Vincent Kartheiser's mistress on Mad Men, but in real life, she had a starring role.

The couple met on the show in 2012 and married in a secret ceremony in Ojai, California, in June 2014. They welcomed their son in the fall of 2015, but no one knew they were even expecting until her Gilmore Girls co-star Scott Patterson let the news slip months later.

However, after eight years of marriage, their real-life romance ended in August 2022, and Vincent filed for divorce, which was finalized on August 30, 2022.

What is more of a fairy tale than Snow White falling in love and marrying Prince Charming? Which is what happened in 2011 after Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas met while starring as the beloved characters in Once Upon a Time.

"We didn't fight it. We went straight for it," Josh said of the couple's connection during an appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan in 2018. After going public with their relationship in the spring of 2012, they announced their engagement in October 2013 and married on April 12, 2014.

They are now parents to two sons, Oliver Finlay Dallas, born May 29, 2014, and Hugo Wilson Dallas, born June 1, 2016.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have been married since 1996, after they eloped in Las Vegas one year after meeting on the set of All My Children, in which they starred as on-screen love interests, Hayley Vaughan and Mateo Santos.

Mark recently admitted that the couple's fans are "super invested" in their marriage after watching them fall in love on the soap opera. "They watched us fall in love on a soap, and they saw these two characters, like playing boyfriend and girlfriend, like, 'I knew you guys were in love.' And like, yeah, we were. We really, really, really, really were," he explained on the I've Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario podcast.

Kelly previously said that she knew Mark was 'the one' before she even met him. "I saw my husband in a photograph before I saw him, and I knew," Kelly said during an interview on SiriusXM's Radio Andy.

"I wasn't looking to get married... but when I saw him, the photograph of him, I saw my entire future with him flash before – like I saw it. And I don't believe in any of that, but now I do. Because of that moment."
