Goldie Hawn's family knows how to have fun! The Hollywood star was one of the first to respond after her daughter-in-law Meredith Hagner unveiled her brand new look, courtesy of her young sons Buddy and Boone.
The actress took to Instagram on May 22 to share footage of herself addressing a makeover her sons had given her.
Meredith was sitting on the ground outside her home in Colorado, dressed in dungarees. Her toddler was leaning on her shoulder, as she looked directly in the camera and said: "It's not the look I was going for. I was thinking more of a natural look."
Meredith's entire face was enthusiastically decorated with colorful facepaint. After watching the video, Goldie was one of the first to respond, simply writing: "Hahahaha. I love you so much!!!!"
The star has been married to Wyatt Russell, son of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, since 2019. The couple relocated to Aspen from LA in January 2025 after LA wildfires seriously damaged their home.
Meredith opened up about the family's big life change in a reflective post shared at the end of the year. It read: "2025- moved to a pocket of heaven in the mountains on the river, deeply enjoying this life season with the sweetest little dudes, so much family time, made some art i feel very proud of, swam in rivers, rode horses, found secret beaches, made some soul friends, actressed ,fell more in love with my husband who rules at being dad. what a gift it is to be."
The couple are also frequently joined by Kurt and Goldie, who spend a lot of their time in Colorado too - living nearby.
Kurt recently opened up about his love of spending time in Colorado, especially now that Wyatt and Meredith are also based there.
"What I enjoy most is that [Goldie] really likes it in Colorado. Wyatt and Meredith, and their two boys, they live in Colorado now. So we like to spend as much time there as we can,” he told Fox News.
"I'd like to be there more, and there's a different kind of life there. That's primarily it. I'd like to be able to spend as much time there as possible," Kurt added. Goldie and Kurt are excellent grandparents too, with Meredith telling US Weekly: "Oh they're the best. They're just, like, the greatest people, greatest grandparents."
She went on to say: "They live down the road from us, so my son is like — that's their second home. They'll have a cookie jar that's always full, and my son knows where it is, and they have a toy box that is always brimming with toys."
She added that despite their global fame, Goldie and Kurt are incredibly down-to-earth. "The thing that always struck me about meeting them is just how normal they are, like you forget within five seconds [how famous they are]," she shared.
