Simone Biles is proving that yes, despite spring being neither here nor there this year, summer is still right around the corner!
The pro gymnast, 29, took to her Instagram Stories with updates from her recent travels, which included carving out time for a well-earned spa session, solo lunch dates, and presumably some poolside moments.
In her latest snap on her social media, Simone shared a selfie of herself in her hotel bathroom wearing a tan floral patterned string bikini top with white pants covering the matching bikini bottoms.
She paired her look with a full beat, her hair in a top-knot, diamond jewelry pieces (including a choker, bracelet and rings), plus her Olympic rings tattoo on full display.
Now almost two years removed from her triumphant return to the Olympic Games with 2024 in Paris, Simone is spending most of her time now on her personal ventures, a break from the sport itself to recuperate, plus supporting her NFL pro husband Jonathan Owens.
However, with the following Summer Olympics now only two years away in Los Angeles, the seven-time gold medalist isn't completely ruling out a return for one more shot at the top, although has expressed that she'll be involved regardless, whether on the mat or off.
Simone told CNN Sports earlier this year that she'll still be involved "in some capacity" with the Games, adding: "I feel like we're still at a 50-50 and that we're still on a time crunch here now it's almost half of 2026."
"We're going to have to make these decisions pretty quickly," she teased, noting that while she's returning to fitness with Pilates and yoga at the moment, gymnastics is currently on the backburner. "That's as far as I got right now."
One thing she did mention is that her decision to return will rest primarily on her mental health, a topic she has been incredibly candid and honest about over the past few years, especially in the wake of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the "twisties" that caused her to pull out.
"Mental health plays a big role in it because, physically, my coaches will get me in shape," she continued to CNN. "I can get myself in shape. We believe in that ability. We're really thankful that I'm still healthy."
"Mental is a huge thing and it's a lot of dedication on that because the road's not easy," Simone continued. "It's long, but it's still work."
While she told Olympics.com at the Laureus World Sport Awards in April that she hasn't actually been watching or keeping up with gymnastics since wrapping the Olympics and her National tour, she is still excited to have the Games be so close by next time around.
"Obviously, home country's hosting it, so it's going to be exciting," she gushed. "I'm excited to see the Opening Ceremony, the Closing Ceremony, just seeing the atmosphere change."
