Chris shared his own tribute post to Katherine, writing: "Grateful that I get to share this lifetime with you. Happy seven years, Darling!" alongside photos of them at events throughout the years, and a snap of Katherine holding a chicken.

Chris and Katherine began dating in June 2018 after meeting at church, and tied the knot a year later in Montecito, in front of their family and friends. The couple have welcomed three kids together: Lyla, five, Eloise, four, and Ford, who turned one in November 2025.

The duo shared a statement following their 2019 wedding, thanking all those who joined them on the special day. "Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love," they wrote.

Chris revealed that the pair attended pre-marital counseling

"They ask you questions you would not even think to answer until you have been married for eight years and then something comes up and you're like, 'What do you mean? That's what you think about that?' And then you have to negotiate it then, like re-negotiating every landmine."

He continued: "You're learning all this stuff about, like, the 300 potential landmines and diffuse them beforehand. That way, if you have an issue, you talk about it, and you hash it out, every single one."

"If you agree on it, you move on. But if there's things you disagree on, you hash it out, and you do the work to figure out, 'Why are you coming from this?' with this therapist who's basically, like, diffusing a bomb but in a way that's not going to cause an argument or a fight."
