Dylan Dreyer had a well-deserved break from the Today Show as she enjoyed a getaway to The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa in Virginia with her best friend, Anne Allred.

The NBC star took to Instagram on June 10 to share a carousel of snaps taken over her trip. The first picture captured Dylan and Anne posing on the property grounds. Dylan looked stylish in a pair of wide-leg jeans with a simple white vest top. Meanwhile, Anne wore a black-and-white striped dress for a chic look.

The post also featured a photograph of Dylan taking a dip in the dreamy indoor swimming pool as well as the pair taking a stroll through the woodlands. Dylan and Anne were sure to get in a game of golf and visit the local tavern.

"Here’s your sign to book that little trip with your best friend that you keep saying you’re going to get away with! Your heart and soul will thank you!" the meteorologist penned in the caption.

"Hi Dylan – We’re thrilled you chose us for your getaway and look forward to welcoming y’all back Home(stead) soon!" commented the resort.

The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa features 260 years of historic charm, championship golf, over 40 activities, and a spa.

Dylan's passion for golf

Back in January, Dylan took part in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, which marked her fourth time at the annual event. HELLO! attended the event and spoke to Dylan about her role on the NBC show.

Dylan opened up about the recent changes on the show since her co-star, Sheinelle Jones, moved from the Third Hour at the start of January to join Jenna Bush Hager as her permanent co-host on the newly named Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.

"We're in the same building, in the same room and when we see each other it's like 'I miss you! Come back!' We're all so close outside of work you know, and we have the same inside jokes. We still laugh and talk all the time. We still do our show on Sirius XM with Al [Roker] too. So everything's still there, but I am sad to have lost my sister on the 9am show."

Dylan's family life

The Today host's time off also marks a break away from her children. Dylan shares three sons, Calvin, Oliver, and Rusty with her ex-husband, Brian Fichera. The couple met while working at the same news station in Boston and tied the knot in 2012. Dylan and Brian moved to New York City and welcomed Calvin in 2016, Oliver in 2020, and Rusty in 2021. The news anchor filed for divorce in March 2026 following 12 years of marriage.

As a bonus for you, we’re sharing the trailer for The Parent Chat with Dylan Dreyer – an all-new podcast series from TODAY

"You know her as TODAY's candid third hour host. But Dylan Dreyer is also a mom of 3 boys in New York City, trying to figure out the big stuff: how to raise kind, confident, resilient kids and keep her sanity along the way. And like every parent, sometimes she needs…HELP! On The Parent Chat, Dylan calls in reinforcements – from parenting experts with big advice to fellow working moms that can help all parents feel less alone. Because parenting doesn't come with a manual, but it can come with a group chat."
